Katie has been one of my most committed and successful clients. Through hard work and dedication she has seen an amazing transformation. I wanted to highlight her journey in the hope that it inspires others to reach their health and fitness potential.

Weight Loss So Far: 30 kgs
1. What is your biggest achievement so far?
Initially losing 30kgs and getting down to a size 8! I started training with my wedding day in mind, however after many kilos and centremetres shred I realised how my attitude became positive and confident, my skin was healthier, I started sleeping 8 hours a night and was just generally happy within myself. I have maintained this for years now getting through my second pregnancy in between, so maintaining this new healthy lifestyle is my biggest achievement so far.
2. Why did you choice BodySwitch health and Fitness?
I had tried many gyms, personal trainers, diet programs, yo-yo diets and even considered some weight loss pills! I knew I had to put in the hard work and dedication so I chose BodySwitch health and Fitness as Kody was confident that he could help me achieve my goals however small or big they were. I really enjoyed the different training styles and the results that I was achieving from them. I found it enjoyable, so it was extremely easy to stick to my training.
3. What is the biggest hurdle you have had to over come?
Learning about my body and its limits. Knowing when to listen to my body when it needs rest and to be fuelled. In saying that also knowing to when to get back into healthy eating and exercise once that relaxed period has past.
4. What’s your favourite training style?
Anything that gets the heart pumping, I enjoy all exercise and will give anything a go. Weights seem to be the flavour at the moment and love hitting my goals in my weekly personal training session.
5. What advice would you give someone starting out on their fitness journey?
I’m a true believer of every little step makes you stronger. I always make myself goals no matter how small they may be, and put 110% in trying to achieve it. Surround yourself with positive people and mentors, you will thank them like I have and still do in the future. In fact in my wedding speech I thanked Kody for all this time and effort he put into my goals for the big day.
