It has been proven many times that having the right workout buddy or team mates can assist you to achieve those goals AND more. Finding the right training partner creates long term health and fitness success as they play the role of teammate, coach and cheerleader – all whilst working out.
Now that winter is here you may find yourself feeling that it is harder to get motivated and get out of bed, especially if you are stuck in a training rut, doing that same gym class or treadmill routine every week. Not only does your body become accustomed to it you will actually stop seeing results and positive changes in your body.

This is a chance for you to lose that weight, get fit or tone up in time for summer. After all summer bodies really are made in winter. Did you know training in winter means you can also burn more calories? Your body actually burns more in winter to keep you warmer. The other good news is that our gym is indoors with convenient parking, so cold outdoor workouts are out the window!

HERE ARE OUR TOP REASONS YOU NEED TO GET ON BOARD OUR 8 WEEK CHALLENGE:
1. Support Network – In a challenge, team mates provide the essential combination of support, accountability, motivation and healthy competition. Whilst working out, they provide the role of team mate, cheerleader and co – coach. A training partner will motivate you to continue when you feel like you want to give up. They can also push you to get that last rep to see maximal results.
2. Accountability – From past experiences we have learnt that seeing a trainer 3-4 times a week isn’t realistic for most people, but scheduling in that time with a training buddy has the same positive effect and accountability. Having a reliable training partner drastically increases your chances of sticking with your fitness routine.
3. Group Environment – Exercise can be a fantastic way to combine social time with fitness. You could recruit the mums at school, your co-workers or perhaps the students in you lectures and start to schedule in a regular workout time. Partnering with a group provides a safety net – if one person can’t make the session, you will always have others that will show up. Although sometimes scheduling time for multiple people can be tricky, attending a group fitness class could be the solution.
4. Proven Results – Our most recent 12 week challenge saw amazing results. Check out our amazing client Yasmin who is a busy working mum of two. She lost 12kg, 47cm and a massive 7.5% body fat!
